Santa Is Coming.....

Hello Everyone,

Had good intentions of uploading goodies beginning this past Saturday, but a few things got in the way.  A new L A Fitness opened pretty close to me so I thought I would get a head start on my New Year resolution of getting fit in 2013.  I hired a trainer, just to make sure that I stay on track, needless to say he worked the crap out of me!  I was so sore I could barely walk...no pain no gain, right?  

Returning home after my Saturday session at the gym my daughter came for a visit.  It was a beautiful day so we were on my front porch just chatting away, deep in conversation we did not notice the neighborhood Pitt Bull slowly approaching.  It is important to note that I am very very afraid of dogs...any kind of dog!  Out of the corner of my eye I see this doggone dog approaching and before I could scream "dog" I was running towards the door, so were my daughter and granddaughter. 

Now, I have to honestly say I don't recall everything that happened, however what I do remember is my behind on the floor (tiled floor), in a semi split, and in a lot of pain.  My knee took the impact of my fall, just one more area of pain to endure.  After an emergency room visit, knee brace, good pain pills, and staying off my leg for a couple of days, I am slowly making a come back.  I am very thankful nothing is broken, but I could use more pain pills for my muscle ache and pain.

Living Out Loud

I do hope that everyone who celebrated Thanksgiving had an amazing holiday!  I certainly did, it is nothing like coming together with family and friends.

I am a little behind, but once I start recoloring I am just unable to contain myself.  I always end up adding more objects, more colors/pattern .......just out of control. 

This set of recolors started out when I saw this month's Copy Cat contest over at BPS and had every intentions of entering .  Then....I was distracted by Baidu's wonderful recolors of Nemestnaya's Chesterfield Sofa and my project took a slight turn (well maybe a big turn).  But, I wanted to play around with the colorful recolors created by the talented Baidu and to get my creative juices flowing. The results, this small but very colorful set.  My latest recolors includes the following:

OhBehave - Xi Living Recolors

OhBehave is among a handful of creators who continue to provide Sims 2 custom content.  What make her standout among this elite group is, for those of us who recolor, she provides all of the tools that assist in creating recolors of her objects a breeze.  I find that OBH creations are creative, fun, and well made, she falls at the top of my list as one of the best.  Thank you OhBehave for all you do! 

All recolors you see in the pictures below are included, some pillows and the blue sofa recolors are not shown.  Meshes are included, however in a way of showing support do take the time to visit her blog "OhBehave Junk Trunk" and forum Cherry Blossom Sims where she serves as an Administrator.  I am sure she would apprieate it.

Afternoon Tea

 

Disemporium - Tea Service

 

Dicreasy did a fantastic job creating a full matching Tea Set using custom content from other creators.  One object was scaled to give a more realistic look and slaved for quick and easy recolors.  I have included both the master mesh and slaved objects, for more information about this set and to  show some love visit Dicreasy site, here.

HC's Creations - Converted Tea Time Set

 

As most of you know, HC's site focus on converting Sims 3 custom content to Sims 2.  Don't know about you but I am grateful for her contributions, which has provided ongoing content for my game and for having new objects to recolor.  Meshes are included for the chair and table (one recolor-white), check out her site, here.

James Paintings Redone

A request was made to place a couple of the pictures in the James Bedroom set on a separate mesh.  To keep the proportion in tack two meshes were used, one on Ella Sims' one tile and Mango's 3 Pom painting meshes, both meshes are included.
